Lamp post erected in the middle of a narrow village road not only obstructs traffic but could also lead to accidents, local residents express dissatisfaction, calling it "absurd"!
A Chinese resident from Sarawak Kuching, in a Facebook post, complained that at a certain bend in a village, there is a lamp post standing on the road, obstructing traffic and posing a potential accident hazard.
He mentioned that this particular stretch of road was recently repaved, but what now catches people's attention is the lamp post.
"I've seen these kinds of 'pranks' happen to others before, but this is the first time I've witnessed it myself."
"After news of this phenomenon spread, many nearby residents spoke up, saying they had nearly collided with the lamp post."
Furthermore, local authorities, upon receiving complaints, have closed off half of the road with yellow caution tape to reduce the chances of accidents.
