Attention, BigPay users! Starting from August 30th, there will be new measures in place.

Please take note of the following changes:

1. Credit Card Top-Up: 3% fee will be applied.

2. Foreign Transactions in MYR: 1.5% processing fee will be charged.

These measures will take effect from August 30th.

If you are a BigPay user and frequently use your BigPay card for transactions abroad, this information is crucial for you. The platform will start implementing these changes on August 30th.

For foreign transactions, when using your BigPay card and selecting to pay in MYR, you will be subjected to a fee of approximately 1.5% on top of any other charges imposed by networks.

BigPay advises users to opt for local currency payment when making transactions abroad to avoid higher foreign currency exchange rates. For instance, pay in Thai Baht while in Thailand or in US Dollars while in the United States to enjoy better exchange rates.

Furthermore, for those who prefer to top up their BigPay card, regardless of the amount, a fee ranging from 1% to 3% will be applicable starting from August 30th.

Using Malaysian credit cards:

1% fee applies to top-up.

Using foreign credit cards:

3% fee applies to top-up.

Additionally, previously BigPay users were exempt from any additional fees when topping up RM1000 using a credit card. However, starting from August 30th, a fee will apply regardless of the top-up amount.

On a positive note, you can still use DuitNow for top-ups. Copy the BigPay DuitNow account number, open your bank app, access the transfer function, paste the BigPay DuitNow account number, and you're all set.

All BigPay users, please take note of these changes.
