Since launched on 16 April 2009, Kota Iskandar has become the new landmark of Johor. Named after the late Sultan of Johor, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, it is a 320-acre integrated development containing Johor State and Federal Government offices, surrounded by gardens and parks. Marvel the Islamic design elements, Johor’s history, nature, and culture.

2. Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque

Don’t tell me you aren’t familiar with this remarkable mosque? The construction of this mosque took eight years to build, which was completed in 1900. It can accommodate 2,000 worshippers and is one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia. Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque is listed as a protected heritage monument by the Department of Museums and Antiquities. It is not open to visitors during Friday.

It was two years ago when Kelapa Sawit Kulai Johor Mural started as Kelapa Sawit held “Lat’s Art at Sawit” as a preparation for the National Day celebration in Johor. The campaign desires to hone the talent of the people in the local communities. The painters were invites for the mural art and the villagers volunteered to paint, under the supervision of the painters, as many as 30 murals with the theme “Hakka Culture” that inspired the villagers to paint.
